Complaint about restriction areas.

Mr. Steve Jobs

CEO Apple and Pixar Animation.

Last month, I bought an iPad device. It´s amazing, I love the gadget and start to use it to do me things, surfing in the internet, read books, magazines and a lot of things that is really nice to do using this beautiful device.

But after some days, I discovered that for some things, my region (Brazil) is not able to do things, like download the movies or games. This thing really bothers me. I tried call to Aplle and talk about my problem, but they not hear-me and I was very upset.

I would like to know why the region is so important? Why the persons that live in Argentina could download the games and we here in Brazil cannot?

I am very disappointed with the Apple Store. They need to change the way of sell things and do not use more restrictions areas.

Workaholic.

Michael is the most creative person that I know. He think very fast, and implement their ideas very fast also. When you not understand what he is saying, he stop and start explain with another point of view. You always understand what he say and what is the meaning of their thought.

At school, he does not a very applied student, their grades were normal, but when he likes some subject, until the professor he left behind. Michael works as an designer and his work is very ordered. He normally arrives late at work, and likes leave early, but if is necessary deliver some work, he spend the day and night working and goes home only after the product is ready.

Michael love computers and he likes to play games in front of the screen. He play many hours, and sometimes he lost the time to wake-up to start to work. If he could, probably he would work at home. Since I known him, he never request vacation, he is always ready to work. He is the most work-a-holic that I know.

Brave New World

Every single morning I surf the Internet looking for novelties about Modern Architecture. In fact, there are a lot of good websites and blogs showing new trends and different ways to see the worlds, throw the poetry of stones. I always ask myself how common people see the space around, and if they perceive cool buildings.

For me, the most interesting thing in Contemporary Architecture, in addition to esthetics, is the use of new technologies. Speccially here in Brazil, where we´re more accustomated to see them in other areas, as in automotive industry. Of course, our Economy doesn´t allow many "flying highs", but in an ethic point of view, the research in new technologies for architecture (for example in efficient kind of "skins"), can provide more sustanable buildings - and life - in the future, don´t you think?

Furthermore, considering that architecture is also a form of art, and not only building, when I started looking for some buildings in Europe this morning, I noticed people really enjoy interacting with them. Until the point they become real icons for their cities. And, as somebody said: "architecture is history told in stones", how kind of history about us will our grandchildren read in the future?

Examples of Contemporary Architecture with people´s interaction.

Sandman

Do you know Sandman? The third of The Endless? Well, this guy is the Dream's King and he belogs to a large family of six brothers: Destiny, Death, Destruction, Desire, Despair and Delirium. The brothers have very diferent personalities, but in somethings, like the black hair and the white skin, they're similar. This King is also a caracter invented by Neil Gaiman.
Sandman is very powerful and he can't be killed. His power came from three objetcs: a ruby, a mask, that's like a had of a fly, and a sandbag. Take care, influenciate, create or destroy the dreams that we, humans have, are his mission.
Talking a little bit about Sandman as a caracter, if you have the opportunity to read the compleate version of his adeventures or the comics, you will notice that, all along the books, his design chance, but never the way that the stories are write. You also will never find a movie, or some extended version about Sandman, because, Neil Gaiman had never permited such a thing, and this is good, if you are the kind of person that, like me, think that stories need to have the begging, middle and end.

A happy memory

A happy memory

Every time I know a new person, it is a happy moment for me. I always love to make new friends, to learn about different cultures, the way other people life and much more... Hanging out with friends, making barbecues, going to the mall or camping and getting bear hugs are so delicious things, that I simply love to be surrounded by them...  Friendship is the happiest thing I can think about in my life... No matter which moment in the past, if I was surrounded by friends I was happy because they were there...
Friend will always have a big place in my heart and can always count on me. Whenever I can, I would try to help… being a shoulder in the bad moments and a smile in the goods. I have no regrets about any of my friends, and I would make again each friendship I have...
Sometime we commit mistakes with them; the biggest I commit was when I leaved friends aside because of a date. I know it´s difficult but I will never do it again, even because with the end of your dating they will be the ones that will help you to continue...
I believe that friends are the best things in our life. So I make an effort to be a good pal of my father, mother, brother and for all my friends, including my new ones Denis, Hugo, Hirley, Tatiana and Steffania. I would say that it was a pleasure to have classes with you all, and that I hope to keep contact!
See you!

One of my bigests regrats was when I belived in the brazilian's arm system. Last year i had to did my enlistment in the arm, but how I was in the second year in the college, have myopia, i'm the only child, thought it would be easy to be dispensed, but i was wrong.
First because, a lot of oficers (sargents, capitans) were wearing glasses, so myopia wasnt a excuse to didnt serve. Then when i told to the sargent that "sargent i cant serve because im in the secont year of my course in the college" he answered me "WHAT ARE YOU SAYING? YOU ARE SAYING THAT THE SOLDIERS ARE STUPIDS? YOU THINK I DONT STUDY?", therefore college wasnt a excuse to didnt serve.
In that moment i started to enter in panic, because if i had to ingress in the arm i would have to stop my college for 1 year. Then i start to think in all kind of excuse to didnt serve...i thought in say that i used drugs, but if they asked for exame, i would be in troubles. I thought in say that i was gay, but if they like it, i would be in a huge trouble.
But finally in the end of the history, i was dispensed because, my mom live only with me, and "she have some problemas of health and depends on me to help her", but i had my hair shaved, and lost all my july's vacation there.
So if you have to
enlistment your self in the arm, dont belive in the system like me, get a fake medical certificate, to not be in danger.

Mr. Alberto Frévolli

Ponto Frio

São Paulo, SP

Dear Mr. Frévolli

I bought a notebook at the Ponto Frio site, it arrived yesterday and I noticed some damage, it is scratch. I already called to the attendents, they said that can changed it, but I need to send it back, but the problem is it gets expensive to send it by sedex. So I want to know if there is a possibility to me take it to a store (they don't know about this there) and they made the exchange. I hope you can help. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Steffania Okido

Mr. Carlos Eduardo da Silva
Customer Services Director
Sony
Curitiba, PR

Dear Mr. Silva:
I bought a digital camera a week ago. But when I was going to charge the battery´s I noticed that the camera came with the wrong battery charger. I thought it would be easy to replace it for one of the right type, but the employee of the store where I bought it wouldn´t replace it. I´m very upset because of this small problem because now I can´t use it and I really needs it for my work. So I ask you if there is anything you can do to solve this problem. It wasn´t my mistake, so I think it is unfair if I have to buy another battery charger.
I hope listening to good news soon!
Sincerely,
Ronald Alberts.

Green Bay Packers Won the Super Bowl

Yesterday, after a amazing game witch Packers won for 35-21 aganist Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay won his fourth super bowl. The QB Rodgers with a amazing performance threw for 304 yards, including a 29-yard touchdown to Jordy Nelson, who had nine catches for 140 yards. Another big name of this game was Nick Collins who had a 37-yard interception return for a TD.

Rodgers, the game's MVP, thrilled his legion of Cheesehead fans with a spectacular six-game string that should finally erase the bitterness of the Brett Frave separation in Green Bay. After sitting for three long years before Favre left in 2008, Rodgers is now equal with Favre in Super Bowl wins, and he extended the Packers' record of NFL titles to 13, nine before the Super Bowl era.

The Marshmallow Test

Hey guys!
Have you ever seen this video about the marshmallow test before? That's one of my favorites!
It's a nice video with kids that are in a room with one marshmallow
. The woman did a deal with them: the child could eat the marshmallow now or wait until she comes back, and if the child hasn't eaten, she would give another one for their pacience.
It looks simple, but for them it's not! The temptation is funny...
I hope you enjoy it!

The expected fight between the brazilians Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort for the belt middleweight (84 kg) UFC was less than most expected in this morning of February 6. After two minutes without a strike fighters, Vitor landed a good punch of left and broke up putting the champion down.
After several unsuccessful coups, Anderson showed why he is the true champion and surpried everyone, with a kick right on the chin, his dropped his opponent with two punches and Belfort did not react.
Silva celebrated little and went to check if Vitor had recovered. In the interview, the champion was modest and said his opponent should be respected because before he think about fighting, Belfort already had titles. He said he has been coaching the kick for months to this fight. Thanked his team and Steven Seagal who taught the kick.
"Spider" the most spetacular and skilled fighter on the planet won of Belfort on a quickly and decided in the 1st round. It was hard to know who should be the favorite but definitely showed why Anderson Silva is the best of world.
